Thanksgiving at Ka'ala and Meridian's Mud & Water Baptism

We spent the Thanksgiving holiday at Ka'ala Farm - whose beautiful lo'i sit at the base of Mount Ka'ala. It seemed appropriate to have Meridian Havana Ka'ala get her first dip in its wet earth. She was then washed up in the spring that flows from the mountain (below). Quite a day of thanks for her joyful parents.


We later enjoyed pounds of lau lau and pie. Yum!!
